Emerging report, revealed that the Police in Kano have arrested the immediate past Governor of Jigawa State, and the 2019 Peoples Democratic Party, Presidential aspirants, Sule Lamido.

Recall, that Lamido had already declared his interest to contest for President on the platform of the PDP, come 2019.

Lamido, who was arrested at his Sharada Kano home on Sunday, was whisked away to the Zone One Command of the Nigeria Police, in Kano.

At Press time, the reason for the arrest of Lamido, is yet unknown.As at 2.30 p.m. on Sunday, the former Governor was still being held by the Police, who are yet to make any official statement on the matter.
