JUST IN: Fighting breaks out in Adamawa, 4 Mobile Policemen killed, military intervenes kills scores of Fulani militias

Reports reaching our newsroom say fight has broken out between Fulani herdsmen and the Mobile Unit of the Nigeria Police.

As of the time, this report came in four mobile policemen have so far been killed by the invading Fulani herdsmen who reports say overpowered the military deployed to Numan.

The military the report further added had no option but to retreat but later reinforced and repelled the Fulani militias.

Many Fulani militias were killed as a result of the reinforcement. The fighting is still ongoing.
