Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State has been criticised by Nigerians for appointing his biological sister Mrs. Ogechi Ololo (nee Okorocha ) as the state ’s Commissioner for Happiness and Couples’ Fulfilment.
Okorocha appointed 28 new commissioners and 27 Transition Committee Chairmen for the 27 local government councils in the state. One of them is his biological sister, Mrs. Ogechi Ololo.
All effort made by Post-Nigeria to reach his press Chief Secretary, Samuel Onwuendo on why the Governor decided to make the controversial appointment proved abortive.
All the phone lines and that of some of his aid where all switched off.
Post-Nigeria was told by a source closed to Imo State Government House, that Okorocha had directed his aide to reply critics.
Recall that Okorocha had been widely criticised for erecting a statue of Zuma amongst others in his state.
Following the appointment, Nigerians have called for the immediate impeachment of Okorocha while others threw insults at him.
