SGF Suspension: Buhari Did Fantastically well Says Dino Melaye

On Friday,the senator representing the Kogi West, Dino Melaye commended President Buhari on the step he took to suspending the Secretary General of the Federation and the Director General of the National Intelligence Agency.

During the interview he gave to Channels television, Melaye said, Buhari did “fantastically well” by taking such step. He also urged the president to take same actions on other issues in order to achieve the anti-corruption goal.The suspension is a welcomed development he said.

“You know when he delays in dealing with certain corrupt issues it gives people the room to begin to think that the government is slow in its approach.”

Announcing his suspension, the President also ordered an investigation into the allegations of violations of law and due process made against Lawal in the award of contracts under the Presidential Initiative on the North East (PINE).
