Essien Ndueso, Media Aide to Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State, has said that President Muhammadu Buhari’s cows are faring and feeding better than Nigerians.
Ndueso said he was certain Buhari will abandon his duties and run to Daura, if the cost of grass were to increase.
He criticized the President over the increase in the price of fuel to N170, against the government approved price of N145 in the State.
He said: “Today, we are in an administration that cows fare and feed better than human beings. That is sad and embarrassing.
“If the cost of grass were to increase, or if anyone were to temper with the comfort of these cows, I am sure Baba would come back and take urgent actions.
“Today fuel is N180, and those who earn their wages monthly from worshiping Baba on Facebook, are also suffering the same fate”, he said.
Post-Nigeria recalls that Buhari had visited his hometown, Daura, after concluding his two-day visit to Katsina, last Friday.
His office shared pictures of him inspecting his livestock during the visit, with the following statement.
“I am spending a few days at home in Daura, before I travel to France for the One Planet Summit. Today, I paid a visit to my farm. I grow fruits & vegetables, & keep cattle. I hope this will inspire one more person to take up farming. My vision is for a country that grows what it eats pic.”
