Biafra Zionist Movement declares Kogi State as IGBO territory, plans declaration of Biafran Independence in LOKOJA, appoints new ambassadors

Biafra Zionists Federation has unveiled plans for a declaration of independence for Biafra in Lokoja, the capital of Kogi State which he says is Igbo territory.

This was disclosed by Barrister Godwin Onwuka, the leader of the above-named pro-Biafra group while speaking in Enugu, the Enugu State capital in Southeast Nigeria. 

He said, “We are hopeful that Biafra is going to be approved in December by the US because this problem of Biafra is not about IPOB or Nnamdi Kanu, it is about America’s support. 

“We are now waiting for Trump’s endorsement before Christmas. Whatever we are doing is based on America’s diplomatic engagement.

“Biafra issue is a diplomatic matter, if America does not support us, it will not work. So, IPOB or Nnamdi Kanu cannot get Biafra, what the IPOB is doing is a waste of time.”

''Biafra would be formally declared in Lokoja, the capital of Kogi State, because the whole of Kogi is an Igbo territory.''

Speaking further on the planned declaration of Independence, he 
 said Nigeria's former Minister of Finance, Dr Okonjo Iweala had been  appointed the Biafran ambassador to the US.
