President Buhari is scheduled to meet with the service chiefs and heads of other security agencies at 11:00 am today.
The president’s itinerary for this week shows he is scheduled to preside over the weekly cabinet meeting tomorrow at 11:00 am.
He had in his yesterday’s broadcast charged the security agencies not to let the successes achieved in the last 18 months be a sign to relax, saying terrorists and criminals must be fought and destroyed relentlessly “so that the majority of us can live in peace and safety.”
He had also said his government would reinforce the fight against Boko Haram insurgents attempting a new series of attacks on soft targets and kidnappers as well as tackle farmers/herdsmen clashes and ethnic violence fuelled by political mischief makers.
