The embattled Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, has debunked the report being circulated in the social media, over an alleged statement credited to him, by the President Muhammadu Buhari Media Centre .
Fayose was quoted as saying: “I will Commit Suicide, If Buhari Come Back Alive.”
Recall, that Buhari has been on a medical vacation in the United Kingdom, UK, since May 7, 2017, over an undisclosed illness.
In a swift reaction, Fayose’s Special Assistant on Public Communication and New Media, Lere Olayinka, in a message sent to Post-Nigeria, debunked the statement.
He said: “Kindly disregard this statement, as it did not emanate from Gov. Fayose.
”It is their usual way of shifting the people’s attention from the real question Nigerians are asking, as to the whereabouts of the President. At no time was such statement made by the Governor.”
Post-Nigeria could also recall, that Fayose had earlier threatened to release 11 shocking pictures, showing that Buhari is incapacitated in a UK hospital, but is still yet to carry out his threat.
