The Anambra State chairman of Ohanaeze, Damian Ogene has warned the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu to stay away from tampering with Anambra election for the umpteenth time.
He gave the warning yesterday during a courtesy visit to its former President General, Dozie Ikedife in Nnewi.
Speaking, Ogene said Ohanaeze had issued a series of warnings to the IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu against his insistence that the election would not hold.
He sounded a note of finality by reminding the IPOB leader that no single person or group of persons can stop the election.
In his words: “No single person or group can stop the election and Kanu himself knows that Anambra people are preparing for the election and he cannot afford to disrupt it.'
'' He has been made to understand the negative consequences of tampering with the election which would be a disservice to the state.”
