Kingsley Mathew Essien, the 17-year-old IPOB member, who was allegedly shot dead by Nigerian soldiers during the group's Trump solidarity march in Port Harcourt January 20th, has been laid to rest in his hometown, Ikot Nyoho village Ukpom in Ikono LGA,Akwa Ibom.

During his burial, some Akwa Ibom elders who spoke in their native language sent a powerful message to the Nigerian Government and security operatives.
