A Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chieftain, Femi Fani-Kayode, has on Sunday evening, described the Comptroller-General of Nigerian Customs Service, NCS, Hammed Ali, as a “stubborn, arrogant monkey”, for refusing to appear before the Senate, in uniform.
Ali, had last week shocked the Upper Legislative Chambers, after he refused to appear in uniform before it, to defend the controversial policy on payment of duties for old vehicle.
However, the former Aviation Minister in his reaction, said the Customs boss was taking Nigerians for granted.Following his refusal to wear his Customs uniform during his appearance at the Senate during plenary, the Senators had last week walked out on him.
In a series of tweets on Sunday evening, the former Media Director of the Goodluck Jonathan Presidential Campaign Organisation, in 2015, said the Senate should insist that Ali appears before them “stark naked”, and that if he refuses, they should “arrest him and have him brought in chains.”
The tweet reads: “The Senate should insist that he appears before them STARK NAKED. If he refuses, they should arrest him, and have him brought in chains.
“The arrogant, stubborn, and ugly little monkey, called Ali, that refuses to wear his uniform before the Senate, is insulting the Nigerian people.”
