BREAKING: Makarfi-led faction of PDP barred by Police from converging at International Conference Centre, Abuja

Reports reaching our Paris news desk say that the Ahmed Makarfi faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has just  been barred by the Police from converging on the International Conference Center (ICC) for a meeting. 

The venue was chosen after the Appeal Court ruling which recognized Ali Modu Sheriff as the legitimate chairman of the PDP.
