The projection that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu will break away from the All Progressives Congress is looking feasible as a grand rally in support of the chieftain was organised in Lagos.
Tinubu has received support after his position in the APC, a party he contributed to its emergence and success, was being relegated to the background.
It was reported that Tinubu was being left out of important decision making in the APC increasing speculation that he would leave the party.
Following the crises that engulfed the party in the Ondo gubernatorial primaries, Tinubu asked Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, the chairman of the party, to resign.
Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti even asked the APC not to betray Tinubu as anyone would did would regret it.
