Nigerian businessman and former governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Jimoh Ibrahim, has lashed out at former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, after the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, announced Rotimi Akeredolu, of the APC, as the governor-elect of Ondo State.
Following the announcement, Jimoh Ibraihim took to twitter to congratulate Akeredolu but not failing to dissed Fani-Kayode in the process.
He tweets: “I had no doubt that Jegede would lose as Femi Fani-Kayode was supporting him. If you want to win any election, pay Femi not to support you.”
Prior before the election, Jimoh Ibraihim and Femi Fani-Kayode had engaged themselves in a mud fight via Twitter after the Court of Appeal sacked the latter as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)‘s candidate for the Ondo Gubernatorial Election, and reinstated Eyitayo Jegede.
