Breaking: Igbo woman, Sandie Okoro, appointed World Bank Vice President

PARIS, NOVEMBER 23, 2016: (DGW) World Bank President , Jim Yong Kim, has announced the appointment of Sandie Okoro as the Vice-President of the World Bank Group.

Sandie born by a Trinidad and Tobago woman to a Nigerian father of Biafran extraction and also holds British citizenship and currently in the employ of HSBC Global Assets Management as its Global General Counsel.

Sandie, before pitching tents with HSBC was the General Global Counsel at Barings. However, President Muhammadu Buhari has long sent her his congratulatory message on her appointment.
