As hardship continues to ravage the nooks and crannies of Nigeria, a powerful man of God has again spoken to Nigerians on the way forward saying that what is demanded is for the people to rise as one and play their parts in the business of nation-building without fear or favour.
This was made by the Founder and General Overseer of the Living Faith Church Worldwide and Chancellor of the Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State, Bishop David Oyedepo.
Oyedepo, who stated this on Friday during the university’s 15th convocation ceremony, noted that only hard work by the people can make the nation great again, adding that nothing ever works without anyone at work.
According to the Bishop, the fact that his church, otherwise known as the Winners’ Chapel is globally recognised as the single church with largest congregation and with the largest single church auditorium is an indication of greater things to come from the country.
He told the newly matriculated students of the institution to aspire to join the army of youths already prepared to lead the much anticipated change in the country and the continent of Africa, saying the hallmark of the ivory tower are the discipline, doggedness and commitment of both the staff and students to liberate the people from the shackles of unemployment, illiteracy and backwardness.
