Not Fewer than two Persons have been feared dead at the Sharks Stadium Portharcourt,venue of the National Convention of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) which was slated to hold today.
About eight early journalists who got to the venue by 5am and attempted taking photographs were alleged to have been mercilessly beaten up by security agents and their cameras seized.
Five journalists were said to have been arrested by the Army Personnel, thrown into a Hilux van and driven away to an unknown destination.
Efforts to get the comments of the Rivers State Police spokesman, Nnamdi Omoni have proved abortive.
However, more trucks of military personnel arrived the Sharks Stadium by 6.30am to reinforce .
Recall that two Federal High Courts in Abuja and Portharcourt had given conflicting ruling and orders regarding the National Convention of the PDP.
