PARIS, OCTOBER 29, 2016: (DGW) The Acting Director of Defence Information Brig-Gen Rabe Abubakar,representing Chief of Defence Staff said Boko Haram has finally been defeated.
He made this disclosure while speaking at the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Kaduna.
Speaking, he warned the media against publishing news stories that could escalate the conflict.
He said: “Today, I am pleased to inform you that we have defeated Boko Haram. It is not an easy feat. Yes, you may hear that an inaccessible village has been attacked or that there was an attack somewhere. But, that is the last kicking of a dying group.
Be that as it may, Boko Haram attacked and killed many in Maiduguri, Borno State capital city located in the country's northeast.
