Breaking! Top Nigerian politician kidnapped by unknown gunmen (See photo)

Reports coming in say a top Nigerian politician and together with his son has been kidnapped along Kafanchan-Abuja highway by unknown gunmen.

The former Minister of Sports Damishi Sango is also the Chairman of the Plateau State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

According to the report, he was on his way to Abuja for the national convention of the party scheduled for the Eagle Square in Abuja on Saturday, when his SUV was stopped by the gunmen.

The Plateau State Publicity Secretary of PDP, John Akans confirmed the kidnap, saying the former minister was snatched around 2pm on Wednesday.

He said the former minister’s SUV was later abandoned by the kidnappers.

Akans added that the kidnappers were yet to contact members of the family.
