Nigeria Army Announces Promotion Of 45 Generals, 92 Colonels [SEE LIST]

The Nigerian Army Council has approved the promotion of 45 Brigadier Generals to the rank of Major Generals and 92 colonels to the rank of Brigadier-Generals, a statement from the army’s Director of Public Relations Brig. General Sani Usman, said.

Some of those promoted to the rank of Two Star Generals (Major-Generals) include:

1. Brigadier General H.O. Otiki
2. Brigadier General O.O. Soleye
3. Brigadier General AT Hamman
4. Brigadier General F Yahaya
5. Brigadier General B.A. Ahanotu
6. Brigadier General I.M. Yusuf
7. Brigadier General S.O. Olabanji.
8. Brigadier General J.I. Unuigbe
9. Brigadier General A.A. Jidda
10. Brigadier General J.E. Jakko
11. Brigadier General V.O. Ezugwu
12. Brigadier General A.C.C. Agundu.
    
13. Brigadier General H.E. Ayamasaowei
14. Brigadier General MS Yusuf
15. Commander Guards Brigade
16. late Brigadier General B.A. Raji, was promoted posthumously.
17. Brigadier General O.F. Azinta    
    
18. Brigadier General J. Sarham
19. Brigadier General T.A. Gagariga
20. Brigadier General L.F. Abdullahi
21. Brigadier General JGK Myam
