Massive Jubilation In Anambra State Govt. House, As Senate Blasts IGP, Ibrahim Idris, Gives A 24-Hours Marching Order To The Police Boss

The Senate, has on Wednesday, lambasted the Inspector-General of Police, IGP, Ibrahim Idris, for withdrawing the security details attached to the Governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano.

The Lawmakers took turns to condemn the Police boss, for claiming that the security men were withdrawn to allow a level playing field for all contestants in the forthcoming Governorship election in Anambra State.

The Senate therefore, asked the Chairman, Senate Committee on Police Affairs, to ensure that Obiano’s security Aides were reinstated by Thursday.
