JUST IN: BRAVO!!! IGP, Ibrahim Idris-led Special Police Force Records Major Achievement, Rescues DPO, Other Kidnapped Victims, Makes Several Arrests

Emerging report indicates that the Nigeria Police Force, under the Inspector General of Police, IGP, Ibrahim Idris, have rescued a Divisional Police Officer, DPO, who was abducted on Sunday, along with his orderly.

In a private sent message to US by the Force Public Relation Officer, Jimoh Moshood, he said the victim was rescued on Thursday, about 17:50 hours.

“DPO Sarki Pawa, SP Aliyu Amos Orderly, and 5 others kidnapped, were rescued unhurt by Police Special Force, around Kabula Forest, Sarki Pawa, Niger State, in compliance with the IGP’s orders two days ago.”

He added: “Some arrests were made, and investigation is on-going.”

Also, Austine Agbonlahor, Commissioner of Police, in Niger State, said that the Officer, SP Amos Aliyu, was rescued along with five other victims in an operation.

He said: “Yes the senior Police Officer, along with five others, were rescued and have since been reunited with there loved ones.”

He added that the victims were rescued with the aid of useful information from some members of the public.

He explained that the Command was taking proactive security measures to deal with any form of security threat.

“We have already deployed sufficient security personnel in identified areas prone to criminal activities.

“We are battle ready to confront any form of security threat, to enable residents to move on with there legitimate businesses”, he added.
