Former President Goodluck Jonathan on Thursday spoke and won the admiration of virtually all Nigerians when he lashed out at the governing All Progressives Congress for the destructive propaganda the party employed to oust him from power.
He made the disclosure while speaking in Abuja in the office of one of the PDP Chairmanship aspirants, Professor Tunde Adeniran.
He drew attention to airy promises and empty boast by the then Lagos state Governor, Babatunde Fashola , now Minister in Buhari's cabinet that the All Progressives Congress will fix power challenge within six months.
He chided the ruling party which he said rode on power by heinous lies and propaganda.
He said: “The PDP administration for 16 years did well and will continue to do well but this administration has done nothing.”
“They deployed propaganda and lies at a professional level. In the power sector, we did well to revive it.
''A State governor attacked our government, saying that any serious government should be able to fix the power challenge within six months. Today, APC has been in power for how many years now? Fortunately, the then governor is in the APC Government as a Minister,” he said.
