In a show of goodwill, solidarity and friendship the France Ambassador to Nigeria Dengs Gauer paid a visit to His Excellency, Governor Rochas Okorocha at the Imo State Governors Lodge in Abuja. In his speech, Ambassador Dengs Gauer stated that” Visionary leadership is the principle element which ensures that government serves as a vehicle for the attainment of citizens’ socio-economic aspirations.”
He extended the warm felicitations of the President of France, His Excellency, Emmanuel Macron and congratulated Governor Okorocha on the initiative of the Rochas Foundation for Africa.
It is worthy to note that the Rochas Foundation for Africa located in Imo State has placed the state on international radar. These efforts of Okorocha are development opportunities.
In the history of this country, no sitting Governor has been able to bring a sitting President to their State.
Under Governor Okorocha’s administration, Imo State has witnessed the visits of 2 sitting Presidents. This is a commendable move that is way beyond politics.
The Governor has shown serious leadership capacity and these are huge pluses on his credentials.
It is an initiative that will stand the test of time and attract economic growth to Imo State.
