THE Governor of Cross Rivers State, Ben Ayade of Cross has sent an SOS to appeal to President Muhammadu Buhari for a prompt intervention following an armed invasion of a community in Boki LGA by suspected armed Cameroonians.
This follows the renewed hostilities between the Boki community and their neighbours in Cameroon following the clampdown on the executive order by President Paul Biya of Cameroon on the fight by Southern Cameroon for the realization of Ambazonia Republic.
Recall, the Cameroonian Government closed its borders with Nigeria leaving hundreds of Nigerians stranded while several Nigerians who speak Ejagham, a common language in parts of Cameroon were allegedly killed on the pretext that they supported their kith and kin over the separatist movement.
