President General Ohaneze Indigbo John Nwodo Thursday urged Nigerians to remain partners in progress of the country, stressing that Nigeria should in no circumstance experience war the second time.
The Second Republic Minister added that war generate no good but more harm in the country.
Nwodo who stated this in Sokoto when he paid a courtesy call on Governor Aminu Tambuwal at Government House, said the visit of the delegation was to deliver the message of all South East Indigbo, all Governors, traditional leaders and spiritual leaders in the zone.
The President General said unity and peaceful coexistence should be a responsibility of all citizens of the country.
"We must remain partners in progress of our country, as we have seen how our own fathers and forefathers live to make it grow and develop to its present stage," he stated.
He lauded the Sultan of Sokoto Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar and Tambuwal for promoting peace and unity among the people.
Speaking Governor Tambuwal commended the Ohaneze Indigbo delegation for the visit and reiterated the commitment of his government towards ensuring peaceful coexistence of all people residing in the state.

The governor harped on the need for sustainable peace and unity in the country noting it as key to tackling challenges.
