Some Elders of Owerri town in Imo State today, Saturday, came together to seek the assistance of their forefathers against Governor Rochas Okorocha.
This came following the demolition of the Owerri Main Market, popularly known as Eke-Ukwu Owerri, as the loss of lives, especially the death of a 10-year boy, Somotochukwu Ibeanusi.
Although, Rochas has denied that lives were lost, while attributing it to political propaganda.
A source at the scene said that the Elders gathered by the grave of late Sir Arugo, asking for him to intervene in the matter.
“Owerri Elders gathered today at the graveside of Late Sir Arugo, to pour libation, lay curses on Rochas, and invoke the spirit of the dead forefathers against the Governor, for relocating the ancestral Eke Ukwu Owerri market.
Another source said that the consequence of the curse is that Okorocha will run mad naked in seven market days.
