The British Government has reportedly asked the Nigerian Government to them the whereabouts of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra.
Recall, the military invaded his home on September 14, 2017 and Kanu has not been seen ever since amid reports that he has gone underground.
Responding, however, the British Government through its High Commission in Nigeria asked the government if the British national was alive or dead.
Reports reaching this medium, however, it is unknown if the Nigerian government has responded to the inquiry.
The report also says that British High Commission in Nigeria through Joe Abuku expressed concern over the whereabouts of Kanu who had been missing since September 14, 2017, when armed soldiers stormed his residence in Abia State.
Abuku was reported to have expressed the grave concern when he was contacted to know the British Government concern on the missing IPOB leader.
He said: “We are seeking urgent clarification from the Nigerian authorities about the status and whereabouts of Mr Kanu, a British-Nigerian man, who has been reported missing since September 14,” Abuku stated in an email on Thursday.
