President Muhammadu Buhari, has said that he may be returning back to the United Kingdom, UK, for proper medical care, if the need arises.

Buhari made this statement through his Media Aide, on Monday, on Channels Television.

The Spokesman was asked if Mr. Buhari could return to the UK for medical check-up, as the President had not addressed this in his speech, which he delivered after returning to Nigeria.

“What Nigerians should hope for is that our President will remain whole”, he said.

“But if there is any reason to go out to the UK, why not? You need to first stay alive, so you can lead a country.”

Adesina expressed hope however, that “the worst is over”.
