Emerging report indicates that many travelers were left stranded, on Friday, after a part of the Rivers State section of the East-West road, that was constructed by the President Muhammadu Buhari-led All Progressives Congress, APC, collapsed.
The portion that collapsed is located in Eleme Local Government Area of Rivers State, and is close to the popular Okulu-Aleto bridge, in Akpajo community.
Recall, that the East-West road has gulped billions of naira, since the contract for its repair was awarded.
The road connects all the States in the South-South region of the country.
