Former Minister of State of Transport and a Peoples Democratic Party, PDP , gubernatorial aspirant in Anambara, John Okechukwu Emeka, has warned the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra that he does not have the capacity to scare over 200 million Nigerians and more so the Nigerian government.
The Nigerian Government, he warned Nnamdi , can never be jittery by your agitation and activities.
He stated this in reaction to the threat by the Nnamdi Kanu that the planned gubernatorial election for Anambra State will not hold unless a date for a referendum is given by the Federal Government.
The Nigerian Government, he warned , Nnamdi Kanu can never be held to ransom by his supporters or any other separatist group.
''What Kanu and his co-travelers should be fighting for to gain relevance is to demand negotiation for a better deal for the South-east in order to get our backing not pulling the Igbos out of Nigeria, it will not work in this age or in the age to come'' , he warned.
Speaking further, he said: “I don’t see how a group can stop an election in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
“There are issues but we are addressing those issues. We have to restore our core values by bringing hope to the hopeless,” he said.
