Yoruba May Ask For Referendum If... -Afenifere Spokesman, Yinka

Afenifere spokesman Yinka Odumakin has stated that the Yoruba region may call for a referendum by 2019 if Nigeria does not agree to a new constitution.

Yinka in an interview with The Sun Newspaper insisted that Nigeria needs to be restructured.

What should be the Yoruba agenda for 2019?

I think at the stage we are now, the Yoruba must insist that 2019 should be on the basis of a new constitution. It will be wrong to hold another election under the present constitution, and if Nigeria does not agree to a new constitution I think Yoruba will be justified to ask for a referendum on the future of this country.
