Saraki's inability to see President BUHARI for a meeting on London trip reignites fresh tension in Nigeria

The inability of Nigeria's Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, to see President Muhammadu Buhari has reignited serious tension back home in Nigeria.

However, there had been conflicting reports on Friday whether ailing President Muhammadu Buhari met with the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, last night at Abuja House, London.

Saraki who had gone to London to attend his child's graduation ceremony was also to have a meeting with President Buhari on rounding off with his son.   

Back in Abuja, a source close to the State House Abuja said the meeting was being held while in a terse statement from Dr Saraki's media office denied the report by saying “there was no meeting.” 

However, the Senate President, Dr Saraki, our source revealed is expected back in Nigeria today.
