Nigeria's Deputy Senate President Dr Ike Ekweremadu representing Enugu West has disclosed how he emerged as Nigeria's Deputy Senate President after what appeared as a ding-dong battle.
He made the disclosure while speaking to Daily Trust newspapers. Recall, Ekweremadu came under fire as the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) called for his resignation being a member of the main opposition party, the Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP)
It is a battle which the ruling party has been fighting to dethrone the number two man in the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
