A protest organized by a section of the youths in Anambra state, calling for a “must hold” election in the state recorded a setback as low number of people turned up for the protest, leaving the sponsors highly disappointed.
The protest was also organized and held by the youths as a way of throwing support for the seating governor, in his bid for securing a second term in government. The Leader of the group used the opportunity to tell those aspiring for the office of the Governor, to Stay Clear because there was no Vacancy in Anambra State Government House.
However, The Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has maintained his stand that there will be no election in Anambra state, and the entire Biafra land till they are granted a referendum. The Biafrans are asking for this referendum to leave Nigeria and create a sovereign state of Biafra.
