It was nothing short of mild drama as snake appeared mysteriously on a Church alter while members were worshiping thus creating confusion and pandemonium.
Members of the Church reportedly flee for their dear lives to avoid being bitten by the evil serpent which , the resident Church Pastor believed was sent to attack the church members by enemies.
The incident in question took place at Greater Grace Deliverance Ministry, Kakuri in Kaduna State on Wednesday and chased out General Overseer, Naphthali Biem, together with the Church members.
As of the time the strange snake appeared, according to eyewitnesses, the General Overseer, was conducting deliverance for a certain demon-posssed woman.
The presence of the snake was noticed by one of the Church ushers who immediately alarmed the Church members, prayers were abruptly halted and member scampered for safety.
“Other members of the church also ran after the pastor when he took off,” the source added. However, the several ushers were able to bring the situation under control as it took them time to pursue and kill the snake.
Reacting to the incident, the General Overseer, Pastor Biem said the incident was devilish and described the incident as none other than a Satanic ploy to destabilize the Church by attacking his members.
His words: “It was strange and devilish. I have never witnessed such thing in my over 30 years in the ministry. If you check around, you will discover that there is no bush around here.
