BREAKING: Petroleum Resources Minister, Dr Kachiukwu Ibe nails another lie by N'Army, says he can't confirm rescue of NNPC staff

There is confusion in Nigeria's seat of power as the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. ‎Ibe Kachikwu, says he cannot confirm if any of the oil workers kidnapped by Boko Haram was or has been rescued.

He made the stunning disclosure while speaking to newsmen on Thursday at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) headquarters in Abuja. 

“We only heard, but can’t confirm if anyone has been rescued,” he said.

Recall the Nigerian Army in a series of press releases said it successfully rescued the oil workers abducted by Boko Haram insurgents in Magumeri local government area of Borno state on Tuesday.
