Former Governor of Anambra State, Dr Chukwuemeka Ezeife, a frontline supporter of Biafra agitation may have backtracked.
Ezeife, a hardcore Biafran said Nigeria was created as a nation by God for a special purpose.
He made the remark in Lagos, Nigeria during a meeting of elder statesmen to discuss the recent political development in the country.
His words: “God created Nigeria for a purpose. That purpose is for Nigeria to become the rallying point and big brother for all black people.”

The former governor warned that time was running out for Nigeria to get restructured and further warned that, “If we don’t get restructured between now and next year, we may lose the country.”
