Nigeria as a nation is sitting on a keg of gunpowder, as a Militant Group, the New Delta Avengers, on Thursday, vowed to resume disruption of oil exploration activities in Delta State, starting from June 30, 2017.
This came a few days after the Arewa youths had given the Igbos residing in Northern Nigeria, 3 months quit notice to vacate the region.
The Militants, in a message made available to Post Nigeria, on Thursday night, declared, “Operation Cripple Oil and Gas Production”, saying they would use any means available to achieve their aim.
Spokesman of the Group, Oleum Bellum, said they were putting the Federal Government and oil companies – local and multinationals – operating in the State on notice, that effective from midnight June 30, 2017 there should be no more oil and gas operations in Delta.
