Tension rises in aso rock as President Buhari departed for London for emergency medical treatment. He had planned to leave Sunday afternoon, but decided to tarry a bit, due to the arrival of 82 Chibok girls who arrived Abuja earlier in the day.

President Buhari assured Nigerians through his media aide, Femi Adesina saying that there is no cause for alarm.

“He is very grateful for the prayers and good wishes of the people, and hopes they would continue to pray for the peace and unity of the nation.

When asked the exact date that the President will be coming back, he said that his coming back will be determined by the doctors.

Vice president Osinbajo will take charge and pilot the affairs of the nation.
