A Lagos Church Pastor and the General Overseer of the Latter Rain Assembly, Tunde Bakare, has warned that Nigeria is on the verge of another Civil War.
He said the recurrent and incessant killings of other Nigerians by rampaging herdsmen would inevitably spark off a civil war in Nigeria.
The fiery Lagos Pastor disclosed this during a sermon on Sunday that the “country is moving towards another collapse” as divisions have become widespread among different groups and violence in Nigeria.
While speaking on the topic, “All Things are Ready,” Pastor Bakare said retaliation can not be ruled out under the existing circumstances against the herdsmen who have unleashed fury on defenceless Nigerians across the country.
He said, “We are on the verge of another collapse if care is not taken. We are pushing ourselves to the (edge of the) precipice of another civil war.
“All these marauders called herdsmen; if you don’t checkmate them quickly, and the people begin retaliation against what they are doing, we will begin to kill ourselves again.
“And violence and corruption will rob us of the great future which God has for us.”Like Us on Facebook!
