The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu has been cautioned by the south-east senators to abide by the bail conditions handed him by an Abuja High Court, The Nation reports.
He was cautioned after a meeting with on Tuesday Night with some south-east senators in Abuja, Nigeria at the Apo Legislative Quarters residence of Deputy Senate President Dr Ike Ekweremadu.
The meeting affording Nnamdi Kanu the opportunity to thank the senators for the individual and the collective role they played towards his release.
A source privy to the meeting said that the senators told Kanu that they are working tirelessly to effect the release of the other three IPOB members still in detention.
The Nation further reports that the senators were silent on the agitation but stressed the need for unity and development in the Southeast.
