Former Abia State House of Assembly Speaker and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Stanley Ohajiriuka, has warned former governor, Chief Theodore Amaefula Orji against joining the ruling party. He called on the former governor, who is the senator representing Abia North Central District, against defecting to the APC. 

Speaking with newsmen after Abia State APC caucus meeting in Umuahia, Ohajiriuka stated that Senator Orji’s governance style while serving as Abia State governor was largely due to his leverage on the former president, Goodluck Jonathan and his wife, Patience and any that attempt to join the ruling party would amount to betrayal. Speaking on the plans of Abia APC in the next general election, he said, “Abia State has suffered so much in the hands of those who can’t get a handful of votes without manipulating the results.
