JUST IN! Police Battles Shiite Protesters In Abuja [PHOTOS]

Nigerian police reportedly used teargas to disperse Shiite protesters who gathered at the Unity fountain in Abuja.

The protest called “FreeZakzaky” was against the government’s continued detention of Shiekh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, leader of the Islamic movement of Nigeria (IMN).

Recalls that Chief Security Officer to the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Sheikh Ibrahim El Zakzaky, and two others were on April 8 re-arraigned before Justice Anwuli Chikere of the Federal High Court, Abuja.
