Recall, that Buhari was in the UK for nearly two months, to attend to his health, after which he announced to Nigerians that he had not been so sick in his life, and had to undertake a blood transfusion.
Presidential sources who spoke to our Correspondent, disclosed that a letter transmitting power to Vice President Yemi Osibanjo, would get to the senate before the end week of this week.
Though, the source did not state the number of days that Buhari would spend on his next medical vacation, having spent about 50 days in his previous medical visit to the UK.
Recall, that just last week, the Presidency had debunked a claim of Buhari not returning to the UK for further medical check-up.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, who denied the claim, said it was fake news, which the Presidency was not aware of.
He had said: “It is false news. We are not aware of the reported advance movements. The last time the President spoke about this, he said he would return to his Doctors after some time. We are not aware that this has changed.”
