In the ancient days, Igbo people used to love themselves and were very proud to speak and learn in their language.

This short video clip is that of pre-colonial studies which shows how the Igbo people delightedly assisted themselves in learning in the highly revered Igbo language at village squares. Most villagers, both young and old participated happily excitedly.

This video is said to have been taken around 1900 - 1940s.
