BREAKING: 23 Nigerian deportees from the UK arrive the airport of Lagos

Some Nigerians have been deported from the UK for various immigration offences, News Agency of Nigeria reports.

The deportees all males numbering twenty-three arrived the airport of Lagos on Friday at about 6:00 am aboard a chattered aircraft.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the deportees arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) Lagos at about 6am on Friday.

The airport police spokesperson, Joseph Alabi reportedly confirmed the incident to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

They were met on arrival by the officers of the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), and the police.
