Governor Ezenwo Nyesom Wike (CON) of Rivers State has won The Sun’s Governor of the Year award.

The presentation of the award was done by Chairman of the Sun Newspapers, Orji Uzor Kalu. Ike Ekweremadu, Terry Wayas and MD of Sun newspaper, Eric Osagie joined in the presentation where the governor's leadership style in Rivers state was highly spoken of.
