JUST IN: Old Trafford On Fire As Smoke Pours Out From Manchester United's Stadium....

The home of Manchester United is on FIRE, according to eye-witnesses. Smoke was pouring from Old Trafford this morning with a fire alarm sounding since 7am this morning. The Manchester Evening News say the problem was due to a fault lift motor in the ground, however that has now been brought under control.

Emergency services are said to be on the way and the situation thought to be under control.

Twitter user Sarah Louise Feeney pictured the incident this morning.



Posting a picture that shows smoke emerging from the stadium, she wrote: “Fire at Old Trafford in South Stand.

“Fire alarm going off since 7am and smoke!”
