PARIS, DECEMBER 7, 2016: (DGW) Senator Dino Melaye representing Kogi West Senatorial District has come down heavily on President Muhammadu Buhari saying the METF is a lie.
He added by saying it is not truthful and it is not transparent and nobody should sit there on the floor of the Senate to be deceived by Buhari.
His words: 'This METF is a lie, it is not truthful, it is not transparent and nobody should sit down here to be deceived by Buhari'
The statement above was in angry reaction to assertion and statement by the Central Bank of Nigeria about a publication on the Punch newspapers that huge debt is responsible for the ongoing cash crunch and recession.
Dino Melaye faulted the statement and claim and said the document he has before him , the METF proposal and projection of the 2017-2019 is not only a lie but a fraud by designed by Buhari to swindle and deceive Nigerians.
